Visits and practicalities

Where is the MultiVet clinic in Lutynia?+

The clinic is at 61 Kościuszki St in Lutynia (Miękinia commune). We welcome pet owners from Lutynia, Miękinia, Środa Śląska, Kąty Wrocławskie, Kostomłoty, Mrozów and Wilkszyn, as well as the western side of Wrocław - about 20 minutes by car.

How can I book a visit?+

The easiest way is online booking. You can also call +48 533 557 247 or write to kontakt@multivetlutynia.pl.

What are your opening hours?+

We are open Monday to Friday 10:00-20:00 and Saturdays 10:00-15:00. Hours may differ on public holidays - please contact us in advance.

Do you see emergencies?+

In urgent situations please phone ahead, so the team can prepare the clinic and equipment to receive the patient.

How should I prepare my pet for the first visit?+

Bring any existing medical records and the health booklet. Keep dogs on a lead and bring cats or small animals in a secure carrier. If possible, note down the symptoms and how they have developed.

INDIBA therapy and rehabilitation

What is INDIBA therapy and how does it work?+

INDIBA Animal Health is a non-invasive technology using a fixed 448 kHz frequency (the Proionic® System). It stimulates microcirculation and cellular metabolism, supporting tissue regeneration, better oxygenation, and relief of pain and swelling.

Can INDIBA be combined with other rehabilitation?+

Yes - INDIBA is often part of a wider recovery plan, combined with the underwater treadmill, manual therapy and exercise as indicated.

Is an INDIBA treatment painful?+

The therapy is non-invasive and usually very well tolerated. Depending on the stage of the problem we work athermally or with a gentle, pleasant warmth, adjusting the parameters to the patient's response.

How many therapy sessions are needed?+

The number and frequency of sessions are set individually - they depend on the problem, the goal of therapy and how the tissues respond. The plan is agreed after the qualification visit.

Which dogs is the underwater treadmill for?+

Hydrotherapy works well in rehabilitation after orthopaedic and neurological surgery, in degenerative joint disease and overweight, and in conditioning sporting dogs and keeping seniors mobile.

Does my dog need to swim to use the treadmill?+

No. The dog walks on a belt, and the water level is chosen individually. The animal is supported and supervised by a physiotherapist at all times, which keeps the session safe and comfortable.

Diagnostics and treatment

What does veterinary internal medicine cover?+

Internal medicine covers the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the internal organs - the digestive, urinary, respiratory and hormonal systems - including chronic conditions such as kidney failure, diabetes and thyroid disease.

When is a heart echo worthwhile for a dog or cat?+

We recommend the scan for coughing, tiring easily, fainting, a detected heart murmur, in predisposed breeds, in seniors, and as part of pre-anaesthetic assessment.

My dog keeps scratching - what could be the cause?+

Itching may result from allergies, bacterial or fungal infections, skin parasites or ear disease. Within dermatology we perform cytology and skin scrapes, among others, to find the cause and treat it effectively.

Which tests do you run on site?+

Our diagnostic facilities include ultrasound, full blood counts and biochemistry, and laboratory analyses - which shortens the wait for a diagnosis.

Surgery, passports and microchipping

How do I prepare my pet for surgery?+

Before the procedure we carry out an assessment and, if needed, tests. The animal should be fasted as instructed. Anaesthesia is monitored throughout, and afterwards you receive clear recovery guidelines.

What is needed for a pet passport?+

The basis is a microchip and a current rabies vaccination. Some countries require extra procedures - contact us in advance so we can plan the timeline.

Is microchipping painful?+

The procedure takes a moment and is virtually painless - the microchip is placed under the skin, usually at the neck. We then register the animal in the identification database.

Which animals do you treat?+

We care for dogs, cats and companion animals. Every patient gets a calm, individual approach to keep stress during the visit to a minimum - and English-speaking owners are very welcome.
