Getting to the clinic

We are at ul. Kościuszki 61 in Lutynia, a village in the Miękinia municipality roughly 18 km west of central Wrocław. Realistically you will arrive by car. There is no railway halt in Lutynia itself and we do not suggest public transport, because any route would end several kilometres away and leave you carrying a carrier along a rural road.

Parking is along ul. Kościuszki directly outside the clinic. It is free, with no paid zone and no ticket machine. For anyone who has tried to find a space near a city-centre practice with a large dog in the back, this is one of the more practical reasons clients drive out here.

A note for anyone with an anxious dog: bring your animal out of the car on the pavement side rather than the road side, and keep the lead short until you are through the door.

Opening hours and what they mean in practice

We are open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00 and on Saturday from 10:00 to 15:00. Sunday is closed. The late weekday closing means an appointment after work is realistic on any working day, which is the main reason clients commuting into Wrocław choose us over a practice that closes at six.

The Saturday cut-off at 15:00 matters if you are setting out from further away, so call before you leave. Because the clinic opens at 10:00, procedures under general anaesthesia mean admission at ten and discharge in the afternoon of the same day; set the day aside or arrange for somebody who can collect the animal.

For a first visit, bring whatever documentation the animal already has: passport, vaccination record, previous test results, surgical reports, imaging. Records from another country are welcome and usually useful; a history that predates our first meeting is often the most informative part of the file.

Species we see

We see dogs, cats, rodents, rabbits and ornamental birds. Horses are covered for rehabilitation only. We do not treat farm animals. If you are unsure whether your animal falls within our scope, ask on the phone before travelling.
